Hyaluron biostimulating – How does it work?
The biostimulating hyaluronic acid is injected in small amounts using very fine needles at five defined points on each side of the face. Due to its special composition and the special injection technique, the liquid hyaluronic acid spreads itself through the tissue. This means that your entire facial skin benefits from its moisture-binding effect.
Biostimulating hyaluronic acid can also be used on other parts of the body: décolleté, neck or back of the hand. Basically anywhere where your skin is tired and dry. This way you can bring moisture and new freshness into your tissue.
Immediately after the treatment, you can usually return to your normal daily routine without any problems.
In principle, the effect of fine hyaluronic acid lasts for about a year. After the first treatment with Profhilo or Peptiyal, a refresher or booster is recommended.

Depending on their composition (hyaluronic acid content, possibly amino acid content, possibly calcium content), the biostimulating hyaluronic acids in most cases have a very harmoniously balanced spectrum of effects with delicate effectiveness:
- moisture
- volume
- collagen formation
- lifting effect (even just subtle!)
The feedback we receive is consistently very positive – if you don’t expect too much effect in one direction or the other (classic hyaluronic acid is more effective in terms of volume, Botox is usually more effective in the area of frown lines, …)
However, if you are looking for a delicate effect with a harmonious spectrum of effects – especially for the middle third of the face, but also for the neck, eyebrows, etc. – then bisostimulating hyaluronic acid is definitely the right choice.

On average, a hyaluronic treatment only takes a few minutes. It is more time-consuming to create a precise, meaningful concept before treatment in the sense of clarifying the regions, dosages, possibilities and limitations…
repetition of the treatment
For a good effect, treatment intervals of 5-6 months useful. However, the duration of the effect depends on some individual factors and is not always the same.
Regular use of hyaluronic acid usually works to prevent wrinkles (i.e. wrinkles do not appear as pronounced in the first place) – but on the other hand, as people get older, excess skin may grow, which can reduce the effectiveness, make it necessary to repeat the treatment more frequently, or make additional treatments or operations necessary.
After the first treatment with biostimulating hyaluronic acid, a refresher treatment is recommended after a few weeks.

Regions: The classic method for biostimulating hyaluronic acid is 10 points in the middle third of the face (5 points per side) and a total of 2ml divided between these 10 points.
It may be useful to adjust the quantities and regions individually.
Dose: a normal average amount per point is 0.2ml
where not? – there are regions where other means are stronger and more predictable – nasolabial, for example, targeted volume to reduce wrinkles is usually more useful, in the frown line area, sensible relaxation with Botox is usually more advisable.
There are actually hardly any regions where fine hyaluronic acid cannot be used at all.
Every treatment is different: In my opinion, individual adjustment to the face and its anatomy is crucial for maximum harmony and balance.
What should you have heard/read before a treatment with biostimulating hyaluronic acid?
delicate effect: Don't be afraid of too much volume! In this case, the effect is multidimensional (moisture, collagen formation, biostimulation, lifting) - but always gentle. Therefore, the first treatment should be repeated after a few weeks.
