What anesthesia is used?
This is decided in consultation with the surgeon and anesthetist. We offer both the option twilight sleep as well as the gentle general anesthesia possible. In some cases, a local anesthesia sufficient. Every form of anesthesia has certain advantages and disadvantages. Ultimately, it is usually an individual decision.

We use self-dissolving seams. Therefore, there are no stitches to remove. After about 10 days, an inspection is carried out to see where stitches above the surface are shortened.
How long should I rest after a tightening operation in Klagenfurt, Carinthia?
Depending on the extent of the operation, you should take it easy for 2-3 weeks. Do this with sensitivity and common sense. The basic rule is: do not lift more than 5kg, do not make any sudden movements, do not work overhead.
But you are not sick. That means you should move around, but just take care of the operated area. When lying down, turning to the left and right is allowed and advisable. Otherwise you risk back pain if you just lie on your back with cramps. Obviously you should not lie on the operated area or the surgical wound itself.
