Normally, you get grade 1 capsular fibrosis: This means that the foreign body in the breast implant is surrounded by a fine connective tissue capsule that does not cause any problems or discomfort. A certain amount of capsule formation also strengthens the tissue and thus prevents the implant and breast from giving way and sinking. With grade 2 capsular fibrosis, the capsule becomes thicker in some places and may be easily palpable, but does not cause any problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
